Julie has 17 years of
cheerleading and dance experience, including coaching at both Highlands
Ranch and Thunder Ridge High Schools. She was a high school cheerleading
and pom coach for 11 years and led many squads to local and national
rankings. Julie holds a Master’s Degree in Education and Counseling and
was a teacher and counselor in Douglas County for 13 years. She is
currently on the State Board for the Colorado Spirit Coaches’
Association. Julie has two children and has lived in the
Littleton/Highlands Ranch area since 1970. |

Jen DeBruno-Kawasaki

Jen is one of the
state’s leading professionals. She has coached and choreographed for
numerous high school and college dance and cheerleading teams, as well as
All Star cheer teams. She was a competitive gymnast for 10 years and a
dance performer for 3 years. She was a Varsity Cheerleader at Colorado
State University for three years where she earned a BS in nutrition. Jen currently serves as an advisory member of the CHSAA spirit committee. Jen
has served as an ER nurse at Children’s Hospital in Denver for
more than 8 years. She has been on UCA staff for 9 years. |

Rebecca (Becky) and
Ward are founders and owners of Gymnastics Plus, a gymnastics academy
offering high ranking programs since 1996 in Denver near the intersection
of Monaco and Evans. Business partners for over 15 years, Ward and
Becky’s previous company, CARL Corporation, received the Denver Chamber
Small Business of the Year Award in 1994. The UnCover database created by
that corporation gained international fame and was profiled in a book
entitled “Doing Business on the Internet.” |

David Little has joined the PEAK team as the Operations Manager, running the day-to-day tasks that keep the PEAK facility ready for you. Dave comes with almost 30 years of retail management experience, with extensive knowledge in training, marketing, inventory management and especially employee and customer relations. Dave’s education includes undergrad studies at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC), and graduate studies at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC), Northern Illinois University (NIU) and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (LPTS), specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychology and in Counseling Ministries. He is also a noted military historian, with an emphasis on Colorado’s contribution in WWII. Dave is committed to the PEAK program, as his daughter has enjoyed the benefits since 2001. |

Kaci has over 10 years experience in Human Resources management, including employment, payroll and benefits administration. Prior to joining Peak Athletics Plus, Kaci worked for a financial software development company and a locally owned bank. Kaci is a Colorado native and graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Marketing. She tried gymnastics as a kid but found her true calling on the court. Kaci played competitive volleyball for more than 20 years and now enjoys playing golf and roller hockey. |

Lycee has been with Peak for almost 8 years now; 4 of those years cheering on the Peak all-star team. She has 9 years of cheerleading experience, 3 years of gymnastics, and 4 years of dance. Lycee is the director of Birthday Parties and Parents Night Out. She also is in charge of the special events that take place in the gym. She is currently studying Corporate Communications and Marketing at Metro State College. Lycee has enjoyed all that Peak has offered her through the years and is dedicated to passing on the same advantages to today's youth.

Ela started working part-time at Peak Athletics Plus in 2004 to help support her daughter’s love of competitive cheerleading. She has also been a Certified Massage Therapist for the past 16 years, and still operates a small practice at home. Ela considers herself a semi-native of Colorado and her love of the outdoors has led her to the top of more than half of Colorado’s famed Fourteeners. Ela, her husband Mark and their two children have enjoyed life in Highlands Ranch for the past 17 years. |
