CLASSES, COMPETITIVE & PERFORMANCE DANCE
Peak Athletics Dance department is made up of dance classes, a preschool/kindergarten dance program, competitive dance teams, recreational dance teams and our special needs Stars Dance Team.
Peak's competitive dance teams include Pom, Jazz and Hip Hop Teams. All teams compete in five to six local competitions, as well as perform in all recitals. Our youth and senior teams will compete at the national level. In April 2009, our four youth and senior teams will travel to Orlando to compete at the COA Ulimate National Championship. Auditions for these teams are held in May. The season runs from June through April. Audition packets can be downloaded from this site.
In addition to our competitive dance teams, we offer a non-competitive dance team called Spotlight Dance Team for boys and girls ages 4-15. The Spotlight Dance Team allows Peak athletes to participate on a team with less time/financial commitment than that of our Elite teams. Visit our Spotlight page for more information.
Our class curriculum offers classes to dancers of all ages including pom, ballet, jazz,
leaps and turns, hip hop, preschool and adult dance. Visit our classes page for more information on all our dance classes.
Christina Leone is the Dance Director at Peak Athletics. Christina oversees all dance classes and our Elite Dance Teams. Ingrid Faraj is the director of the preschool and kindergarten dance program as well as overseeing our shows and recitals.
