Gymnastics Director

Our gymnastics director GEORGI S GEORGIEV was originally born and raised in Bulgaria where he spent his life involved as a competitor at the elite level in Acrobatic Gymnastics. Subsequent to participating in numerous national and international competitions he was awarded the title Master of Sports by the Bulgarian Sports Federation. His arrival in United States in 1996 officially sets the beginning of his coaching career where he dedicates the next ten years to coaching professionally competitive Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and Trampoline and Tumbling at optional and compulsory levels. Entering the coaching field as women’s team coach and working in collaboration with some well known internationally coaching staff he quickly proves his coaching abilities and takes on greater responsibilities in the positions of head coach, program director and manager during the following few years. He is a current USAG member and safety certified, as well as CPR and AED.
Apart from spending most of his time within the gymnastics field he enjoys art, music, soccer, skiing (…hoping for tons of snow this winter…) and outdoor activities. He looks forward to working with each and every one of our athletes, their families and staff members at Peak Athletics Plus for the years to come.
